Rochester Winery is owned by the De Wet family in Robertson, South Africa.

Winemaking and viticulture are the family passions which dates back to 1697 when the first De Wet settler in South Africa was appointed cellarmaster of the Dutch East India Company.

TASTING NOTES:

Medium - full bodied Chardonnay in the French Chablis Style. This is a fruit driven wine.   Redolent of flavours of citrus and stone fruit, with hints of minerality.Yellow-green in colour.  Citrus and vanilla on the nose and palate.   Crisp and elegant, a long finish with subtle hints of wood.
