Matured in American oak barrels for a sweet, mellow taste with a rich, smooth Sherry cask finish.

Tasting Notes

Colour Amber gold.

Nose A bouquet marked by freshly baked tarte tatin and vanilla pod, soon giving way to another level of charm as nuances of banana, caramelised orange and fresh ginger completes this tapestry of temptation.

Palate Warm and inviting. The palate detects an avalanche of exotic flavours, glazed nectarines and frangipane, shortly enlightened by hints of sticky toffee pudding, Demerara sugar and Seville oranges.

Finish Complex and rich. Fruit cake, over ripe apricots.

Master of Malt Tasting Notes: 

Nose: Chocolate mousse, extra thick double cream with a dusting of brown sugar, stewed apples and blackberries.

Palate: Christmas pudding, chocolate brownies, yellow plum and toffee-coated barley.

Finish: Spiced rum sweetness lingers on the finish.
