FR Château Le Coteau Margaux Grand Vin 2013

Variant:

Château Le Coteau is one of the last AOC family farms and also a prestigious wine from the appellation Margaux.

12 hectares of land constitute the sumptuous terroir of Château Le Coteau. It is located on the beautiful gravelly lands of Margaux which shelter the ideal composition to obtain a grape of a great maturity and a wine of a great quality. The harvest is done manually.

VARIETALS: 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot.

AGING: 16 months in new French oak barrels.

TASTING NOTES: Smooth subtle nose, raspberry, pepper and spice. Smooth and light initially on the palate, it builds on the palate into a more robust vino. Blackberry, blueberry and liquorice. The finish is where the real magic happens. Long weighty finish. Striking pleasant tannins. Plenty of lasting, lingering flavour.
