AU Gapsted Gold Hidden Story Shiraz

Gapsted Winery is an Australian family-owned vineyard in the heart of the picturesque Alpine Valleys of Victoria’s High Country near Myrtleford.  

The winery is the outcome of six wine families seeing the potential of producing high quality cool climate wines from the Alpine and King Valleys. The families were influential in the region either as grape growers and winemakers.

THE WINE:  This wine displays a dark cherry colour. The nose shows rich blackberry, cherry and classic pepper spice aromas. These rich aromas lead to a palate which is beautifully balanced with subtle oak and fine spice, creating a lovely silky finish.

FOOD MATCHES: Ready for immediate enjoyment. Try matching with rare roast beef with parsnip puree, forest foraged mushroom soup or tuna mornay.
